You Can Choose the Right LED
Many people find it tricky to choose just the right LED bulb. They come in different shapes and styles, so it's important to get the right bulb for your fixture. When in doubt, just take the old bulb with you to the store to be sure.
Next, select the right brightness. A 60-watt incandescent bulb outputs about 800 lumens of light. A 15-watt LED bulb also outputs about 800 lumens, so it's considered a 60-watt equivalent bulb. Most LED packaging will help you choose the right brightness for the bulb you're replacing.
LEDs are also made with different color temperatures. Daylight bulbs work well in places like garages or office workspaces. Cool white is good for kitchens and baths. Warm white has the same mellow color as incandescent bulbs, so they're great for living rooms and bedrooms.
You can choose the right LED to make your home more comfortable and efficient.
